Tampa, FL was the the housing market with the third largest share of flips with 8.4 percent of all home sales being flips. House flipping is a real estate term which refers to the practice of an investor buying property with the aim of reselling them for a profit. The investor either invests capital into each respective property in the form of renovations or simply resells the properties if home prices are on the rise.
