Breakdown of the number of meals served for out-of-home consumption in France 2017
Collective restaurants were responsible for more than 39 percent of meals served away from home in France in 2017. Furthermore, around 38 percent of the meals served for direct out-of-home consumption in France were coming from the kitchens of commercial restaurant establishments. The same figure for hotel food and drink services was less than 3 percent during that year.
