Estimated production volume of vegetables FY 2022, by leading state
In fiscal year 2022, the total production of vegetables in India accounted for over 204 million metric tons. The produce of vegetables from the state of Uttar Pradesh during the measured time period was about 30 million metric tons. The major vegetables produced in India were onion, potato, and eggplant.
