Looking at men that follow women's football, other social media like Facebook, Instagram etc, was with roughly 65 percent the most used media to follow women's football. The second used medium was the Twitter account of clubs with roughly 50 percent, whereas television came third with 45 percent.
The media usage of women shows similar results as the media usage of men. Television is with roughly 85 percent to follow men's football and 45 percent to follow women's football the number one used media as well. The Twitter account for clubs is used more by men than women. Women used it to follow both men's and women's football with roughly 60 percent.
