Indian silk exports FY 2016 by type
In fiscal year 2016, India exported over 52 million kilograms of silk goods, such as ready made garments, carpets, or scarves among others. The exports included mulberry silk, non-mulberry silk and silk waste, all used for various garments including carpets, ties and scarves.
