In fiscal year 2023, India imported electrical and non-electrical machinery worth more than 3.65 trillion Indian rupees. There was mostly an increasing trend in the value of imports in this sector from fiscal year 2011 to 2023 with dip in 2021, mainly due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
