Racist crimes against minors in Northern Ireland, 2007-2017 This graph shows the number of racist hate crimes against underage persons in Northern Ireland from 2007 to 2017, by year. The number of offences reached an initial peak in 2008/2009, before dropping in the following years. After a minimum was recorded in 2011/2012, crime rates rose again in more recent years resulting in a net increase peaking in the number of reported race hate crimes against children in 2015/2016.
