Revenue expenditure of India's government - community services by type 2018
At the end of fiscal year 2018, the budgeted estimate revenue expenditure of India's central and state governments amounted to more than 9.5 trillion Indian rupees. The largest share out of this was for education, amounting to approximately five trillion rupees. The revenue expenditure refers to expenditure which neither creates assets nor reduces liability.
