Australia: proportion of overweight and obese children by age 2018

In the 2018 financial year, 17.7 percent of Australian children aged between 8 to 11 years old were overweight, and about 6.9 percent were obese. The age groups with the greatest share of obese children were 5 to 7 and 16 to 17 years old at 10.3 percent of each age group.
