New commercial vehicle registrations in Austria 2021

Light commercial vehicles make up the largest share of new commercial vehicle registrations in Austria, with roughly 58,806 vehicles newly registered in 2021. Also, the number of heavy commercial vehicles registered was about 6680. Similarly to Austrian passenger car registrations, both two types of commercial vehicles experienced a significant drop in registrations with the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
