Annual cinema reach in Norway 2009-2021, by gender
During a 2021 study fielded in Norway, 42 percent of female respondents said they had gone to the movies throughout the 12 months preceding the survey. Four years earlier, in 2017, the share stood at nearly 80 percent. The annual cinema reach in Norway decreased for the third consecutive time in 2021.
