Shopping: reward for sharing personal data with retailers while shopping UK 2015 This survey was conducted to assess what kind of reward consumers would like to receive for sharing their personal data with clothing retailers in the United Kingdom (UK) in the year 2015 by asking "Thinking about the experience of buying clothes, select from the following list the thing that you would most like to see in return for sharing information about yourself?" While 41 percent of respondents preferred receiving personalized offers or discounts, only six percent wanted to receive VIP access to clothes.
