Survey on whether government cuts on defense spending in Europe will end in 2017 This survey asked participants whether they believed that government cuts on defense spending across Europe would end in 2017. This data is compared against the results from a 2015 which asked whether the participants expected defense spending cuts to end in 2016. It appears that the survey base are more optimistic in 2016 than they were in 2015, with 46 percent expecting growth in defense spending in 2017, compared to just 16 percent who thought that 2016 would see an increase in government spending on defense.
