Crude tea production volume of the agriculture sector in Japan 2012-2021
In 2021, the production volume of crude tea (aracha) in the agricultural industry in Japan amounted to around 78 thousand tons, an increase compared to 70 thousand tons in the previous year. Unrefined green tea is processed as whole leaves and commonly sold as sencha in Japan.
