Note: Andaman and Nicobar islands did not report any urban population living in poverty during that time period.
Poverty line was calculated with the Mixed Reference Period method (MRP) which measures consumption of five low-frequency items (clothing, footwear, durables, education and institutional health expenditure) over a one year period, and all other items over the previous 30 days.
