Share of sexually inexperienced Japanese bachelorettes in 2021, by age
In a survey conducted in June 2021, 39.7 percent of Japanese single women aged 30 to 34 stated they had never had sex before. The share of unmarried women without sexual experience was highest in the age group of 18 to 19 year-olds, at 78 percent.
