Green tea import volume to Japan 2012-2021
In 2021, the import volume of green tea to Japan amounted to around 3.2 thousand tons, a decrease from over five thousand tons in 2012. While Japan imports a small share of green tea from overseas, the majority of the demand in the country is covered by domestically produced products.
