Popular devices used for online shopping in Japan 2022

According to a survey conducted in June 2022 by Rakuten Insight in Japan, smartphones and mobile phones were the leading devices used in online shopping. While around half of respondents used smartphones to make online purchases, only eight percent were using tablet devices.
