Highest wealth index share in north-east Indian households 2014

This statistic describes the results of a survey among households across north-east Indian states about the highest wealth index in 2013-14. Among households in the state of Assam, about ten percent accounted for the highest category in the wealth index. In this region, Mizoram had the largest share of wealthy households during the survey period.
