In the fiscal year 2020, there were 2,102 hot spring (onsen) lodging facilities in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. The prefecture had the most onsen lodging facilities in the country, followed by Nagano Prefecture, and Oita Prefecture. Shizuoka Prefecture is located to the west of Tokyo, and it is home to Japan's most famous mountain, Mt. Fuji.
