Clothing retailers market share in Norway 2018 Among the leading clothing retailers in Norway, measured by market share, Hennes & Mauritz ranked first, followed by Cubus and Texcon. In 2018, H&M, the multinational fashion retailer from Sweden, had a market share of 13.6 percent. Cubus and Texcon both had a market share of around seven percent. In this year, H&M generated a revenue of nearly 4.2 billion Norwegian kroner, while Cubus’ revenue was almost 2.3 billion Norwegian kroner and Texcon’s revenue amounted to about two billion Norwegian kroner.
Number of stores 

  When looking at the number of stores of clothing retailers in Norway, Texcon AS was leading. The Norwegian company sells apparel and furnishings for men and boys. As of 2018, they operated 281 stores in the country. By comparison, H&M ranked fourth with a number of 130 stores.

Growth of import and retail sales

   In the period from 2011 to 2018, the growth rate of retail sales of clothing and accessories in Norway fluctuated slightly, while the import value had a stronger fluctuation. In 2018, clothing retail trade decreased by 2.2 percent and the import of fashion products grew by 3.9 percent.
