ConocoPhillips employed approximately 9,500 people as of December 31, 2022. That year, the Texas-based multinational energy company decreased its workforce by around 400 people. ConocoPhillips was one of the largest oil companies worldwide until 2012, when its mid- and downstream segment was transformed in a new single company - Phillips 66.
