APAC: prevalence of adult tobacco use by country

In 2020, approximately 44 percent of the adult population in Myanmar consumed tobacco. In contrast, just about 13.6 percent of people aged 15 years or over in Australia were tobacco consumers.
That year, Myanmar had the biggest share of female adult tobacco users in the Asia-Pacific region and the second biggest share of male adult tobacco users.
