India: cargo traffic volume at major ports by state 2022

At the end of fiscal year 2022, Maharashtra's sea cargo traffic across major ports amounted to 136 million metric tons. The state of Goa handled the lowest cargo traffic in its major port during the same period. About 70 percent of trade by value and around 95 percent by volume across the country was done through maritime transport.
