Cargo traffic at major Indian ports 2019 by state

At the end of fiscal year 2019, Maharashtra's sea cargo traffic across major ports amounted to over 131 million metric tons. The state of Goa handled the lowest cargo traffic during the measured time. About 70 percent of trade by value and around 95 percent by volume across the country was done through maritime transport.
