The executive order, which was signed by President Donald Trump in January 2017, banned travelers from six Muslim-majority countries (Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen) without current visas from entering the United States. In 2015, over 49 thousand travelers from these countries entered the United States for recreational or business travel.
