Cargo traffic at major Indian ports 2018 by commodity

At the end of fiscal year 2018, iron ore traffic handled at major ports across India amounted to about 41 million metric tons. Almost 70 percent of the country's trading value was handled through maritime transport. Seaborne trade across the south Asian country grew at twice the global growth rate in 2019.
