Cargo traffic at major Indian ports FY 2019 by commodity

At the end of fiscal year 2019, iron ore traffic handled at major ports across India amounted to about 39 million metric tons. The total cargo volume handled was around 700 million metric tons. Certain commodities, like petroleum products, saw an increase of volume while others like food grains witnessed a drop in the volume.
