Argentina: annual e-commerce sales 2014-2018

In spite of the considerable devaluation that the Argentine peso has recently suffered, e-commerce sales in Argentina have grown throughout the last years, at least in current prices. In 2018, the revenue from online sales in that country amounted to almost 230 billion Argentine pesos (equivalent to approximately 6.1 billion U.S. dollars at December 31, 2018 exchange rates), up from 156.3 billion pesos a year earlier (around 8.4 billion U.S. dollars at December 31, 2017 exchange rates). Nevertheless, e-commerce sales in Latin America as a whole are expected to keep increasing in the near future.
