Average daily time spent with radio in selected metropolitan areas in Brazil 2022
A study fielded in Brazil from April to June 2022 found that consumers in the metropolitan area of Rio de Janeiro spent, on average, 273 minutes (or around four hours and 33 minutes) per day listening to the radio. Meanwhile, in the metropolitan areas of Vitória and Curitiba, the figure fell behind 230 minutes (or three hours and 50 minutes). The daily reach of radio in Brazil was higher in cities like Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, and Florianópolis.
