In 2022, the domestic shipment volume of the sports shoes market in Japan was forecast to reach almost 105 million pairs, growing by over four percent compared to the previous year. Sneakers and running shoes represented the main segment of the Japanese sports shoes market, accounting for around 60 percent of total shipment volume.
