The statistic displays the results of a survey on the share of people with sport club memberships in Northern Ireland from 2014/2015 to 2019/2020, by marital status. In 2019/2020, it was found that 31 percent of the single respondents stated that they have a sport club membership. Overall in 2020, sport participation in Northern Ireland was at its highest rate in recent years at 56 percent.
