This statistic shows the number of times adults in the U.S. with back pain went to an alternative practitioner or therapist for treatment for their back pain in the last 12 months, as of 2017, by age. It was found that 24 percent of those aged 18 to 30 years had received up to 5 treatments for their back pain within the last year, compared to just 7 percent of those aged 61 years and older.
