This statistic displays the percentage increase consumers are willing to pay for a car that does not produce any emissions in Australia as of March 2017, by age. During the survey, 59 percent of respondents aged between 50 to 64 years answered that they would be willing to pay more for a zero-emission-car. Out of that 69 percent, 26 percent of consumers that are aged between 50 to 64 years would be willing to pay six to ten percent more for a zero emissions car compared to a conventional car.
