In 2019, most long holiday trips taken by Italian tourists included between four and seven overnight stays. Overall, Italian vacationers made roughly 20 million trips lasting not more than seven overnight stays. Moreover, Italian travelers took about 1.3 million holidays of 22 or more overnight stays.
