Vidhan Sabha election results in Uttarakhand, India - by political party 2017 This statistic shows the number of constituencies won during the Vidhan Sabha or Legislative Assembly election across the state of Uttarakhand in India in 2017, based on political party. The BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party) won the most number with 56 constituencies out of a total 69 along with the most votes, while the Indian National Congress came in second with 11 constituencies. Trivendra Singh Rawat from the winning party was elected chief minister of the state.
