Distribution of domestic trips in Italy 2019, by means of transportation
In 2019, most domestic trips taken by Italian tourists were made by car. Data show that car trips consisted of roughly 68 percent of all domestic trips taken by Italian travelers. Moreover, 12.5 percent of all domestic trips were made by train in 2019.
