Coal imports to the United Kingdom (UK) from the United States stood at approximately 2.4 million metric tons in 2022, more than double the 1.1 million metric tons in 2021. Over the past decade, imports of coal into the UK from the United States have decreased significantly, falling from a peak of 13.7 million metric tons in 2013.
