This statistic shows the results of a survey on the ingredients in food that cause the most worry among consumers in Norway in 2017. Sugar caused the most worry in Norway. 20 percent of the respondents worried about ingredients in food products stated that they were worried about sugar. The ingredient causing the second most worry was palm oil, with 15 percent of the respondents being worried about having the oil in their food products. In 2017, more than 45 percent of the Norwegian consumers were worried about the ingredients in the food products that they buy.
