Soft drinks can fillings in Sweden 2011-2015 This statistic shows the can fillings for soft drinks in Sweden from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, approximately 448 million cans of soft drinks were filled. Over the five-year period, the amount of filled cans fluctuated, remaining at approximately 400 millions. Nearly all cans as well as PET bottles in Sweden include a deposit. Reverse vending machines are placed at the entrance of most supermarkets for buyers to bring back the empty cans and bottles against a refund. Cans are not a very popular form of packaging for soft drinks in Sweden. The most common form of soft drinks packaging are non-refillable PET bottles. (--> link to 705132)
