This statistic represents the results of a survey in 2017 across eight cities in India about the ways car drivers handle their mobile phones while driving. During the survey period, a majority of drivers, about 26 percent said they hold the phone in their hand while driving, while about ten percent said they used the mobile phone's speaker phone feature.
