In 2019, about eight in ten directors of tourism and hospitality companies in Italy were men. A similar scenario related to the management in this industry, as only 36 percent of employees with this profession were women. On the other hand, women accounted for 65 percent of office workers in tourism and hospitality companies in 2019.
