Trade surplus contribution of the agricultural sector in the Netherlands 2015
This statistic displays the trade surplus contribution of the agricultural sector in the Netherlands in 2015 (in billion euros). In 2015, the Netherlands had a trade surplus of 47.6 billion euros, one of the largest in the world. A large proportion of this surplus was a result of the contribution of the agricultural sector. Nearly 54 percent of the surplus, or 21.1 billion euros, was a result of the trade surplus in the agricultural sector. The dairy sector was responsible for another 3.8 billion euros.
