Calzedonia Group: turnover in 2010-2018 In 2018, Calzedonia Group registered a turnover of over 2.3 billion euros. Through the seven brands it controls, the Calzedonia Group is mainly producing and retailing in hosiery, underwear and swimwear for women, men and kids. The brands are the following: Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Tezenis, Falconeri, Atelier Emé, Intimissimi Uomo and Signorvino.
A constant growth

Founded in 1986 in Verona, Calzedonia is the original and the oldest brand controlled by the Ggroup. The Ggroup has grown exponentially thanks to the addition of new brands through the course of the years. The turnover grew on average 8.5 percent on a yearly basis from 2010 to 2018. Thanks to this successful, in 2017, it ranked among the leading Italian fashion companies in terms of turnover, competing with names such as Prada and Armani.

Domestic vs foreign revenues

As many other companies active in the fashion industry, Calzedonia Group produces most of its turnover abroad. In 2018, approximately 45 percent of the Group’s revenue originated in Italy, whereas the rest came from foreign markets. However, Calzedonia is not as reliant on exports as some other companies. For example, a ranking published in 2018 shows that some of the leading Italian fashion companies generate up to 90 percent of their revenue abroad.
