Opinion on blocking certain types of news content on social media in the UK 2017
This statistic shows the results of a survey on the share of respondents who thought that social media should prevent showing or sharing certain types of news content on their platforms in the United Kingdom (UK) in March 2017. The survey found that nearly a quarter of British adults reported that they thought news organizations publishing funny or satirical material which was presented so that it looked like real news but was not supposed to be taken seriously should not be shown or shared on social media.
