This survey shows the share of Italian residents taking holiday trips lasting more than three nights from the first to the fourth quarter of 2019, broken down by number of nights. As of the first quarter of 2019, roughly 73 percent of Italians went on holiday that lasted between four and seven nights. By contrast, most holidays taken during the third quarter of the year (July to September) lasted more than eight nights.
