The statistic presents the result of a survey about the main reasons for purchasing disposable baby diapers in Japan in 2015. During the survey period, the majority of respondents, almost 68 percent, said they bought paper diapers for money saving reasons. About 13 percent of respondents purchased disposable diapers because they liked the brand, while for 2.1 percent based their shopping decision on the packaging design.
