During the survey, it was found that 46.4 percent of UK music consumers stated to use YouTube as their first destination to listen to a piece of music that they did not own, while 14.9 percent of respondents reported that they would pay to download it or would buy it on CD/LP. A further 16.6 percent of respondents stated that they would listen via an audio streaming service, such as Spotify.
