This statistic shows the results of a survey on the most popular destinations for listening to music in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2016. During the survey, it was found that 46.4 percent of UK music consumers stated to use YouTube as their first destination to listen to a piece of music that they did not own, while 14.9 percent of respondents reported that they would pay to download it or would buy it on CD/LP. A further 16.6 percent of respondents stated that they would listen via an audio streaming service, such as Spotify.
