Fleet tonnage distribution share in India 2022, by type
As of December 31, 2022, with over 56.6 percent, oil tanker fleets formed the largest type of fleet under the Indian flag. This was followed by dry cargo liner, which was just above 23 percent. Over the last ten years, the share of dry cargo liner had increased significantly.
