Italy: level of awareness of discussion about electoral law 2017

The statistic shows the level of awareness of discussions about electoral law in 2017 in Italy. According to the survey, a total of 50.9 percent considered to be informed about the electoral law, while 47.4 percent stated to be not informed about the topic.
A proportional representation system modeled on the German system, including a requirement that parties obtain five percent support in order to secure parliamentary representation, was planned. The proposal was rejected by the Chamber of Deputies on 8th June 2017.
