Italy: opinion on The statistic shows the opinion among Italians on "blocked" party-list heads included in current electoral law in 2017. According to the survey, over 50 percent of respondents believed that it is a demonstration of little respect towards the citizens and their freedom to choose their own representatives. With "blocked" lists, party-list heads are chosen by Secretaries of the parties and voters are prevented from picking their representatives.
