Value of regulatory capital in the UAE by key commercial banks 2021-2022
In 2022, the Emirates National Bank Dubai (ENBD) in the United Arab Emirates had the highest tier one regulatory capital at 23.3 billion U.S. dollars, and the second highest tier two capital with 1.5 billion USD. First Abu Dhabi Bank had a slightly higher tier two regulatory capital, with 1.7 billion, but 0.7 billion less tier one regulatory capital than ENBD during the same period.
